Team Shows Fantastic Improvements At Recent New Jersey Motorsports Park GRAND-AM Race
Following their front-running performance at Mid-Ohio, Momentum Race Group was once again headed to the front of the field before encountering bad luck. The 06 Mobotix / nfcm.us / Eborhood.com Camaro GS.R of Ryan Lewis and Jordon Musser had worked its way up to 2nd after starting 11th at the midway pit stop / driver change. Lewis’ solid run up front was short-lived though, as the engine expired in spectacular fashion less than 10 minutes after the driver change.
Meanwhile, the 05 Camaro GS.R of Chris Gleason and Jeff Altenburg went a lap down early in the race, but was able to fight back onto the lead lap and finish 15th in class after starting 23rd. Not exactly where the talented duo wanted to finish, but they still celebrated success in fighting their way back to the lead lap before the end of the race. Click to read more

#06 Orr and Musser show well, #05 Nowicki and Altenburg in trouble early
DALLAS, TX – February 8th, 2010 – Momentum Race Group drivers Daniel Orr and Jordon Musser put on a great show, starting from way back in 35th to move up to finish in the top ten in the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Fresh From Florida 200 at Daytona International Raceway in their Amsource Capital/Monster Graphix Camaro GS.R number 06. Jeff Nowicki and Jeff Altenburg were not quite as fortunate, as starting driver Nowicki was caught up in an early race incident that resulted in the Oakland University Systems Evolution Center Camaro GS.R number 05 car being retired with suspension damage. “I hate it for the team, they worked so hard to put a fantastic car together for the race and then to go out so early – it’s just frustrating,” said Nowicki on the subject.
