Momentum Race Group is located in beautiful Lewisville, TX a suburb of technology centric Dallas, TX. Covering 6000sqft, Momentum Race Group has 900sqft of offices, a dedicated transporter storage/service area, fabrication area, abrasive room and of course car service area. Under construction is our new dyno room which will offer sound protection to the shop and office area for cars screaming at 7000rpm on our brand new 224xXLC eddy-current chassis dyno. A dedicated abrasive room contains all machine equipment that has the potential to send dust and material flying that might damage a car or make its way into an engine. Fabrication area includes TIG/MIG and various other cutting and form technologies. Also located on our campus is a full CNC machining suite, including Waterjet.
Executive Vice President Jordon Musser has over a decade of racing and automotive fabrication experience in addition to a Mechanical Engineering degree. Jordon’s cars have been featured on the cover of magazines, including GM Hi-tech Performance and Motor Trend. Jordon has built several 1000+hp street cars, including a daily driven turbo 1994 Camaro that was originally featured in GMHTP Magazine after he garnered internet stardom when he was able to put the car solidly into the 10sec 1/4mile range in a daily driven 6spd car, without any power adders (before he later added the turbo…). Jordon is also responsible for several LSX V8 conversion into other cars, such as his personal RX7. Jordon’s racing experience covers karts, SCCA, Formula BMW, Grand-Am, Skip Barber and Formula Russell. Jordon Musser has won many prestige races and championships across North America and has had the opportunity to race in South Africa, Portugal, Spain, Canary Islands and Egypt. He knows what it takes to win championships- he has done so as a driver and mechanic.
Over the past few years Jordon has split his time between role as the head of the mechanical engineering department at a Defense Contractor in Fort Worth TX and racing. In mid 2009 he returned to his passion by putting 100% focus to racing and formed Momentum Race Group along with his partner, Ray Butler.
Jordon can be found 7 days a week at the facility overseeing and putting his hands on everything around the shop; from working on the cars, fabricating new parts or in his office huddled behind his laptop pouring over data.
